  • ā€¢ When it comes to tech, it has always been a fond interest of mine. Growing up and seeing the ways technology has rapidly evolved ceased to amaze me, especially now the reliance of technology in our day to day.
  • ā€¢ This prompted me to pursue a pathway in Computer Science within academia. During my time at University, I acquired a strong foundation in technology and developed excellent problem-solving abilities. I successfully completed several projects that showcase my proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks.
  • ā€¢ Having recently undertaken nFocus' SDET Academy I have learnt the fundamentals of automation testing, by creating a project to showcase this. This not only allowed me to develop attention to detail but also excel in creating robust tests. As a hardworking and determined individual, I continually strive to aim high and I am eager to further develop my skills, progressively improving and to achieve success in both life and my career.

ā€¢ Student Demonstrator
As a Student Demonstrator for the 2022/3 academic year, my primary role was to assist first-year students in a procedural programming module. I dedicated myself to helping students debug their code and solve problems they encountered along the way. Whether it was identifying syntax errors, addressing logic issues, or guiding them through the process of breaking down complex tasks, I was there to support their learning journey. By fostering a collaborative environment, facilitating group discussions, and providing feedback, I aimed to empower students to become proficient programmers while promoting teamwork and effective problem-solving skills. It was a fulfilling experience to contribute to their academic growth and witness their progress throughout the module.

I have a strong passion for football, both watching and playing football. I thoroughly enjoy watching matches and analysing the tactical aspects of the game, as well as appreciating the individual performances of the players. Manchester United is the club I support, and I actively follow their progress, keeping an eye on the board's decisions, managerial changes, and player transfers. It's disheartening to see how the club's ownership prioritises profit over the fans' interests, running it more like a business rather than a football institution. This situation has led to a decline in the club's success and a disconnect between the fans and the management.

In addition to my love for football, I also have a keen interest in maintaining my physical fitness. I am committed to regularly going to the gym and engaging in workouts that help me stay in shape. Fitness is important to me as it not only contributes to my overall well-being but also instills discipline and perseverance in achieving personal goals.

By pursuing these diverse interests, I believe I am cultivating a range of skills and qualities that can be beneficial in various aspects of life, including my future career. The combination of my analytical approach to football and my dedication to fitness demonstrates my ability to be focused, disciplined, and adaptable, which are essential traits for success in any field.
